Even fresh rain water lacks the essential minerals for human nutrition or the flavour to quench thirst; the natural process of mineralisation depends on.

Population Growth + Disease + Mass Migration + Climate Change + Deforestation + Depletion of Natural Resources are all monumental issues, which influence the World’s current and future prospects for wellbeing, prosperity and peace.

Major Governments and Economic Blocks argue ceaselessly about who is to blame for our current crises and the balance of responsibility we should impose to confront and address the negative trends before the damage becomes irreversible.

Oil and gas continue to be the dominant sources of energy for homes and businesses across the globe, although wind, wave and subterranean solutions are fast gaining ground. The latter methods offer attractive and exciting potential, but none are absolutely free of environmental impact.

All of these above issues are inextricably linked with Water which, itself, is an endangered reesource.

Hallmark is but a tiny cog in the World economy, but we have responsibilities and a role nonetheless.

This role is to facilitate human progress, but to do so with less environmental impact than alternative methods and constantly to seek new, cleaner and better ways to achieve results.

In photographs taken from space, we can see that our planet has more water than land. However, of all the water on Earth, more than 99 percent of Earth’s water is unusable by humans and many other living things – only about 0.3 percent of our fresh water is found in the surface water of lakes, rivers and swamps.
